Just getting back into soaping, and I have a tonne of bottles of fragrance oils that are about 4 - 5 years old, just wondering if they would be safe to use? Thanks

I would ask Ann-Marie from Brambleberry.

We say generally a year. After that it is not that they 'go bad' really, but they may start to weaken or smell differently. You can try them if they still smell okay to you. A newer/fresher fragrance oil should give you much better results though. =)

Thank you. I was more worried about if the oil will irritate the skin at all, not so much the smell (though off course the smell is a big factor!)
