Does anyone have a solution on how to keep eucalyptus and spearmint EO anchored in cold process soap? It seems my scent always fades away to nothing once the soap is cured. Would adding more help or trying to anchor with a different Eo? I add between 40 - 45 grams per 50 oz. oils. Thanks to anyone taking time to respond with an answer :D

45 grams sounds about right. Where did your essential oils come from? Both of those are pretty strong. I have not had problems with fading with these two. If you use 0.7 oz. per lb. of soap, of both combined, you can use up to 59 grams for that size batch.

I buy most of my EO s at New Directions and so far I ve had good results. But then again I have tried very little in different companies so don't have anything to compare with. The border cost of shipping makes me stick to a Canadian site
