Hello all,

What are the best chai and green tea FOs you've used that behave well in CP as well as other body care products? I'm looking for a true chai -spiced just right with a bit of cream, and a realistic green tea that smells fresh and not too perfumey. Am I asking for too much? :lol:

I'm leaning towards the chai and green @ BB and NG so far. Thanks in advance for all your help!

I received a sample of BB' s Chai Tea fo and everyone that smells it says it smells exactly like chai tea. It performed beautifully in cp and is still present after 8 weeks cured. I haven't tried any green tea fragrances.

I have some of NG's Chai Tea but I haven't used it because the max use for soap is only 1%. It smells nice, but at only 1% I wasn't sure if you would be able to smell it after the soap cured.

Thanks Linda & Haven! Yeah 1% is really low for soap. Most of their FOs have a 5% max usage rate. I might look up how to request a sniffy (think that's what it's called) from BB. WSP has both FOs also, but the chai is a vanilla one and the green tea is a perfume dupe.

I used NG's chai tea many many moons ago. It was light, but sweeter than BB's imo. Green Tea FOS, to me, are usually really light, pretty underwhelming and best blended with others. But maybe I just haven't got a good one.

(I've used BB's and NG's, liked to blend them with Bamboo)

Thanks Laura! I found a chai FO, w/the help of fragranceoilfinder.com, at Just Scents that seems to be what I'm looking for. Of course I won't know until I've had a chance to use it. I'd never heard of them before but they seem reliable based on the few company reviews I could find online. There were so many green tea FOs listed on fragranceoilfinder that I decided to put that search on hold right now. :shock:
