I had a friend that die from YL oils. She died due to raindrop BS and unorthodox practices taught by YL. The "practitioner" (and I'm using this term lightly) used undiluted essential oils plus two blends formulated by YL. The concentrations of the EO's used exceed the recommended safe doses and cause skin irritation, sensitization, phototoxicity, and essential oil toxicity. They used UNDILUTED Thyme, Oregano, Cypress, Birch, Basil & Peppermint. They also used blue tansy, wintergreen or sweet birch. The practitioner used a hot towel to drive the undiluted oils deeper into her skin.

When you ingest a mint leaf or a piece of lemon, the strength of the essential oil molecules is very weak. In some cases like the rose, it takes 60,000 rose blossoms to produce one ounce of Rose oil. So ingesting a mint leaf or eating a piece of orange is nothing to worry about.
