I've noticed that some scents are more 'present' than others. Spiced Mahogany smells great, for example. What are some others that smell nice and maybe stick around a little longer?

This is probably a loaded question so I should be expecting a stream of everyone's favorite fragrances!

I have been making CP soap since July. Have used 14 different FO's, all from Nature's Garden.

My favorite, hands down, is Mango Sorbet! Sticks like crazy, no fading, and very, very "happy and bright" in the way only fruity scents can be.

Most spicey scents will stick better then citrus or some florals. As everyone is different, it's hard to say what YOU might like. BrambleBerry has a nice sensuous Sandalwood that sticks. http://www.brambleberry.com/Sensuous-Sa ... P3884.aspx

BBs Fresh Snow, my favorite by far! Pearberry is a close second now though, mmmm!

NG, Love Spell, Orange Blossom. I mixed Lavender Vanilla and Frech Lavender together and it is awesome. The Fragrance makes your body smell good when you bathe with it. They all are great to soap with the lavenders do turn dark brown. So many people are using Brown in their decor now that is it not a problem

BB: Cedar & Saffron, Wasabi, Kentish Rain, Indian Sandalwood Cybilla, Smoky Patchouli, Black Raspberry Vanilla (BB or NG)
NG: Lavender Martini, Stud (smells like AXE), Queen of the Nile

I agree, BB's Fresh Snow is wonderful and the scent sticks really well. From them I also really love Raspberry Violet, Cherry Blossom, Wasabi (yay Linda and Jenny!), and Champagne. Those all behave well, don't discolor, and smell great!

My favorite NG scents (if you order from them) with real sticking power so far have been Pineapple Jasmine, Clean Cotton, Rainbow Sherbet, Yeah For Yummy, and Eggnog (discolors dark).

WSP's Frosted Cranberry and Calming Waters are really nice.

My overall favorite soap scent that I have made so far to date is Spicey Apples and Peaches from Rustic Escentuals. Mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm!!!

(I love talking about FO's :) )

Is the fresh Snow one ozonic or how would you characterize it? Sounds like I missed out not adding something like that to my Christmas gifts.

As far as fragrance oils I did get, I mostly ordered from Peak Candle company because they have a nifty 10-bottle 1-oz sample deal that was just right for my purposes and allowed my imagination to play. I enjoyed their Blueberry Muffin which I used to make 'Duck Ponds' for the toddler set on my gifting list and Cranberry Orange and Sugar Plum both of which made excellent scrumptious smelling cupcakes. None of those 3 discolored or accelerated trace, and all are sticking very well in both CP and whip.

To me Fresh Snow smells like a cross between the laundry powder aisle at the supermarket & feijoas?!? :?

This is soaped, it does smell different OOB to me. Some love it, some don't. Not much help sorry! :D

BB's OM&H, Fresh Bamboo, Black Raspberry Vanilla (love that it doesn't discolor), Sea Moss, Plum Tea, Spiced Apple Cider (discontinued ) and Yuzu. Heather since you like Pearberry you will love Yuzu! It even behaves perfectly!

NG's Sweet Orange Chili Pepper, Bay Rum, Honey Bunny and Chocolate Bon Bon (flavor oil). I also liked Kismet but I didn't make it quite strong enough. There are some others I love OOB but haven't had a chance to soap yet like Capri Olivo, Rockstar, Pheromones, Perfect Man, Basil Sage & Mint, Rosemary Mint Type (love the Aveda scent), Green Clover & Aloe, and more! I'll do a big test batch after Christmas. I love there bundle discount on 1 oz fo's and wish BB did something like that.

Hmm, what do you all do when your scents start to overflow your storage?
