Teach Soap

Hello,

I've heard it suggested, and I do agree, that insurance for a soap/lotion business, is a wise idea. I checked with one broker and the quote he gave me was $758.00 per year! To anyone else who has just enough insurance to protect themselves in case someone claims they get a rash or something and sues, does this amount seem on par with yours?

That's more than double the amount than I think most of us pay.

Can I ask where that was through? If you haven't already, have you checked out RLI?

Being in Australia, we have less options. I pay just a smidge under $900 per year for my liability insurance.

RLI is a well known company who has been in business for quite some time. Lots of small time soapers use them.
