Nothing like finding out how big your behind really is. :lol:

I've signed up to do eight Saturday outdoor markets, starting June 30. It's sort of every other weekend (the reason I say "sort of" is mid-August starts a bunch of dog shows, so I had to pick weekends with no dog shows to do craft shows).

Anyway, since it's been a while since I did an outdoor show, and it's going to be bloody blazing hot, I'm afraid, I trotted myself off to my local thrift store to buy some kinda dressy-ish looking shorts. Egads, it's been a while since I've been clothes shopping, and now I know why! :shock:

Oh, well, I just bought a treadmill. Gonna take care of this.

Eeek! :lol:

I get this reminder when I fold the clothes. My husbands pants are so tiny and mine are like sheets of denim. Arg. Darn skinny men! Will probably join weight watchers again, lost a good bit with them before.

My problem is I don't eat enough. Nutritionist says 3 meals a day and snacks. I usually only eat once a day, and even then it isn't much (I'm addicted to chicken broccoli and cheese stromboli from Stoffers). When I DO eat like she tells me I lose weight like mad. Sounds like an easy plan huh? Just not so fond of eating. That and my DNA is all like "CALORIE!!!!! ATTACK!!!!! STORE IT!!!!!!" Darn you jeans, and genes!

Can we swap Heather? My problem is eating too much!! I'm a constant snacker. Or I'm really bad for finishing off the kid's plates if it's something I like (or just not sharing at all if it's something I know my daughter will turn her nose up at) And I'm a sweet tooth as well. :?

I sometimes snack non-stop when I get super bored. Now I keep a big thing of juice or water beside me, and when I get bored I drink that instead. Apple juice right now! I've also been told that gum works great too, gives you something to do but few or no calories from it. I guess the biggest thing is at the grocery store, resisting the call of those chips that REALLY want you to buy and eat them hehe, been trying to buy celery and fruit instead... but it seems to just go bad in the fridge :oops:

Hehe, sounds like my fridge. My main issue is I don't like food. As in the tastes and such. I grew up on the exact same dinner for the first 13 or so years of my life. 2 x Chops with nothing on them, a cup of dried peas boiled until they were hot, raw carrot and a glass of milk. EVERY. NIGHT. A luxury was a veal snitzel, and occasionally raw beans if my mum couldn't be bothered cooking the peas. As a result, I like about three foods.

Unless.... it involves a drive-thru. Not liking food + not enough time + always tired due to two non-sleeping kids + generally running to the post office right around lunch time due to day naps = more times than not, a drive-thru is involved. :roll:

I like all sorts of foods, just too lazy to cook them mostly :oops: So I eat a lot of TV dinner type stuff. Toss in the microwave for 5 mins and... TADA! Dinner. Small non-nutritious meals for the loss. :?

LOL are you sure we don't have the same pea pod back in the nursery? I'm so bad for cooking too. That said, it's hard cooking for one, and my kitchen is usually suffocating under soap stuff.

Juice and fruit are my only sugar sources, so I'm not too worried about that. I eat low sodium, low sugar, low fat, and high fibre. I add flavor with spices and herbs now rather than salt. I probably have one cup of juice or fruit a day.

My downfall is carbs. I LOVE carbs. I have a serotonin imbalance so my brain says "gimme carbs" constantly (carbs stimulate serotonin production). I can eat a box of cereal in a sitting if I don't pay attention! :lol:

My addiction is meat. I'd rather eat that with a carb then anything else. I don't really feel good if I have one with out the other. But I don't really eat much fruit of veggies. No reason why except that I'm just learning what do to with them. Our markets are so limited with produce that its hard to keep things intresting.
I can't complain with the weight though, I'm 5'7" and 130lbs. I just (expected virtual food to thrown right about now) can't gain weight beyond that. :oops: But I whole-heartly support all of you in your weight loss efforts! :D

Ohhhhhh please don't talk carbs. I'm really in the mood for some Italian bread and I can't LOL

I CAN say that I flatout DESPISE duck eggs *gag* We got some last week at the FM, and we hadn't been brave enough to try them until this morning. They tasted okay until you caught a whiff of them. OMG it is so nasty. Once we smelled them, we couldn't eat them. Even our big dog didn't eat mine as fast as he usually does. Never again! Might be okay if you used it to bake something, but since we're in the early stages of Atkins, we can't have the carbs so... I think they're just going down the disposal.
