I was wondering if there was something else besides plastic (saran) wrap, shrink wrap, zip bags that can be used to wrap melt and pour soap? I was looking into wax coated tissue paper, and wondering if this would work as well? The one and only complaint I received from my market test survey that just completed was that some had a problem with the plastic wrap on the soap. I had followed the instructions to a T in one of Anne Marie's Soap Queen Videos. And since I came up with this cute packaging idea, I would like to eliminate one layer if possible. Anyone know?

If this is for MP, heavy gauge shrink wrap seems to work the best for me. I sent some MP soaps that weren't shrink wrapped cross country and they started to sweat due to humidity and it wasn't pretty. I live in a very dry climate, so I don't need to shrink wrap them locally.

I believe my roll is 80 Gauge. It came from http://www.shrinkwrapstore.com/
I don't know how would you be able to keep the air out with wax paper.
