I must be honest, most legislation I find ridiculous and crazy. I am a true to heart, dyed in the wood libertarian; but as such I don't even find it my place to tell people that they should rebel against such things. Sometimes, though, it strikes so close to home, I have to speak out to those I think it will make a difference to. Today that's our group here. There is some new proposed legislation that would allow all publicly posted pictures to include blogs, ebay, etsy, and web sites to become public domain. You could see pictures of your children or your products in other people's advertisements. It is truly insane. Someone, however, has put together an amazing web site to write your legislators opposing this legislation that literally takes less than 2 minutes if you want it to (you can edit as well, so it can take as long as you want).

Have you heard of the National Animal ID System? This one's a doozey as it causes your animals to literally become owned by the government. When you register for it your animals become a part of a 'national herd', you become subject to unconstitutional searches and seizures, and if an animal takes sick with a deemed 'spreadable' disease up to I think 6 miles away, guess what, you get to see your animals get euthanized.

I keep my pictures off of the internet. When I do, they are in our locked server.
