This isn't about soaping but I really want to share my happiness. I am also a quilter and had a quilt in a show last weekend. I received a ribbon for Best Machine Applique. There were over 350 quilts in the show and my quilt was voted 1st place Viewer's Choice. I am so happy that my feet haven't touched the ground yet. Thank you all for letting my share.

Are you kidding me? That's not a quilt.....that's a masterpiece!!! I've made quilts. They were nothing like that. I can't believe all of the detail. Beautiful......absolutely beautiful!

Thank you for all the lovely complements. I have been quilting for a long time and have discovered applique to be my true passion. I do make many simpler pieced quilts for family and charity. When I look at pictures of the beautiful soaps that some of you make I think that they are truly works of art. I hope to some day make such gorgeous soaps.
