Would you put green clay in your bath salts? If so how much would you put in? I'm thinking 1/2 oz per 8 oz of salt with 1/2. Oz of eo/fo.

I can't remember if green clay stains a bit or not. I know pink clay stains the tub & takes a lot of scrubbing to get out.

As for the EO/FO, 1/2 oz seems like a lot for bath salts, make sure you check the IFRA levels for whichever ones you're using since it won't mix with the water and is more likely to come into contact with bare skin.

Since some clays can stain, I don't use them. For 8 ozs. of salts, 3.7 ml. or 0.125 oz. of a fragrance or EO should be sufficient.

Thank you for your help. I ended up just using about 1/2 tsp per 1lb of soap. Just enough to make it look gritty, but not make the soap abrasive. I am using in a "series" soap line I will be posting in the middle of April. I hope it does well...

Thanks! :D
