Hi everyone. Not sure if you know but Santa Barbara, CA are under an evacuation orders and warnings. I would like for everyone to keep the residents of Santa Barbara in their hearts, thoughts, and prayers.

I was not forced to leave but left Santa Barbara because of the air quality.

It still looks pretty bad. Looks like they evacuated more people. With the sundowner winds, the firefighters are having a hard time. Our governor is giving this fire the highest priority right now.

We have some pretty nasty fires here too. Our craft fair had layers of smoke over the mountains and swirling around the booths. Only 5 vendors showed up, and even less customers because of the danger (yes, I was one of the vendors...). We were counting on the bike run to bring in $ and customers, but what with the fires and all, only the diehards showed up. Our fires are kind of on the back burner because the fires are only burning up trees and wildlife; human habitation seems safe so far. It's scary when you can actually tell, from the smell of the smoke, what is burning-trees, or the ground where the dead leaves are. We live with our property right up against the national forest-most of the people who live here are the same way. I guess one of the prices you pay to get away from people is having less services. And the fires are good for the forest....

We're getting all the smoke over here in Northern Nevada from the fires. We can't even see our mountains, air quality is very bad we had to shut our windows last night. Praying for everyone in CA plus all the brave Fire Fighters.
