My apologies for that last note. I'm sure it was confusing. It did not refer to this code, but to a message I keep receiving when I try to post to this forum, or visit a page. Several tries are necessary to get in.

I did try with just a number, and no improvement. All I know to do, until I learn how to get this to work, is to just do "Buy Now" buttons for each size. Shame, as I know there is a simple answer hidden somewhere. I don't know how to find others who use this software. I'll try to find a way to email these people - but as I'm using a free version, not sure that is an option.

Thank you

Operative word "free" --- maybe there is some forum for the software you can post a question. Keep your expectations low for 'service' and maybe just maybe they will 'wow' you with help and actually help you find the answer.

Keep us posted :D - because now I must know if you do come accross a solution

I'll be out of town all day tomorrow, so it's going to be a couple of days before I can get my head into this again. Thank you so much for your help and interest. It's a problem to be solved.

I think I figured out the problem. Barbara, I sent you an email about it but just in case you check here first. You don't have the server name at the beginning of the button html code. So it doesn't know where to go. Add that to every button as the first line in the html code and you should be up and running. I hope that is all there is to it. Let me know.

Ooooh - makes sense but I did not look at the code directly...one thought in addition to what Haven said - don't code *all* the buttons. Just do *one* of your soaps first and see how that works.

Unfortunately, Haven had overlooked it. The server address was there above each entry. The mystery continues.

I finally got back to this project, but was never able to figure out how to make the cart work with the drop down box ....... so I gave up on that. I just have a Buy Now link by each option.

I would like to thank those of you who were so kind and helpful, trying to help solve this problem. You gave your time selflessly, and I do appreciated it so much.

If you would like to see how this finally ended, here it is.... http://www.barakafarm.com/store/soap.html I jsut finished it, haven't checked it as I ran out of time, but am SO confident  that it is going to work.

Thanks again to all of you.

I am sorry you were never able to figure out the drop down box. I looked at your store and it works great! Congratulations!

Haven, thank you again for all your help, and for checking on the cart. Now my next challenge is keeping it current as soaps sell. This is the down side to doing such individualized soaps. Some of those options only have one or two bars available.

I found that Paypal didn't do all I wanted it to, ZenCart was way too difficult to figure out and so I went with Mal's E-Cart. It is very simple to use. I can customize it using HTML with very little (and I mean very very little) knowledge of HTML. And what I did need help with, I was able to find within the many guides. They have different levels, free cart (what I have), and paid carts. The link to them is http://www.mals-e.com.

I'm a Web and Graphic designer by trade and I use Mals-e all the time. It's the best out there in my opinion. It's easy to use and will grow with your biz. Also the Mals' E team is great about answering questions and helping you set everything up.
