I'd like to try making a Goat's milk soap but don't have a recipe as of yet. Would it work to use a regular CP recipe and just sub in the goats milk for the water?

You can use any CP recipe and sub part or all of the liquid for goat's milk.

Well, I tried my goat milk soap today and will know more info once I unmold it and cut it. It did overheat, as I got some cracking along a "ridge line" on the top. Also, when I saw the cracking, I lightly touched the top of the loaf and the exterior surface was completely solid, but was "springy" to the touch (reminded me of a trampoline). When I touched it a few hours later, it wasn't springy and felt more solid.

What should I prepare myself to find when I cut into it????? Gaping holes/craters, or is it possible it still might be okay?
