Has anyone used honey as an additive? how much?

I use it all the time. Honey oatmeal soap is the perennial favorite bar I make amongst my friends and family.

Add ~ 1 tbsp honey per pound of soap at trace. You might want to work with lower soapmaking temperatures as well. I've had instances where, when the oils and lye were above 110 degrees, the soap seriously discolored. I suspect the heat + the chemical reaction with the lye might have actually caramelized the sugar in the honey. Soap I've made at lower temps (in the 90 to 100 degree range) have come out lighter.
