I wanted to try & make a CP soap using a strong brewed Ruby Chai ( Organic spiced Roobois) tea to mix with my lye ( cold of course) & adding the dry tea to the trace.
Any one tried this? any advice ? It won't go racid later will it?

Yes you can do it. It will not add any scent and will most likely turn your soap beige, tan or light brown.

I've made a couple of batches like this... one of my favorites.
It does indeed turn a reddish brown over time (I use a high concentration of tea) and I use a spiced fig FO for scent which works very nicely.
The dried tea is a wonderful exfoliant... as my brother says..."it's scratchy... but in a nice way".

Thanks guys, it turned out nicely, of course still curing. I did not add any fragrance for those who don't care for it.
