I want to try a pumpkin pie soap, but I can't find a recipe that doesn't uses EO instead of FO. I have found places that say you can just add pumpkin spice and pumpkin puree to a basic soap recipe, but no one gives amounts.

Does anyone have a recipe they would be willing to share?
Thanks, Deborah

Any recipe can be used with either EO or FO. Pumpkin pie spices will not add very much scent. For each oz. of cooked, pureed pumpkin, discount an oz. from your lye water.

Here's one that SoapQueen posted awhile back:

It uses FO but you could probably change that.

Thanks! That really helps. Now I can use my recipe and just modify it.

I used EO in mine. I used Cinnamon, Allspice, clove and Vanilla. I added 2 parts allspice to 1 part of each of the others. I added about 5% to my cp soap. Hope this helps.
