Hello all,

I made salt bars for the first time about 3 weeks ago & they didn't gel. Fast forward to now & they are wheeping (mosit). The recipe was 80% coconut, 20% "other" oils, superfatted 20%. Is it a failed batch? Any thoughts?!

They could be weeping due to moisture in your area.

Did you use dead sea salt...they cause weeping...

Thanks! I may have used dead sea salt, I have to check (it's 6am & I don't want to wake up the hubby). If I used dead sea salt, even though they weep, can I still use them for myslef?
