Wow, it's been a while since I checked in! I enjoyed going back and looking at the previous pages of soaps I missed - beautiful work, everybody!

Cat, your swirled soaps are awesome! The column swirl method makes such interesting patterns. It was so neat to see how the original video of the painters inspired such a cool soaping technique!

I tried out the lard recipe last night. I had plans to try out some layering or swirling but the soap gods said no. Instead I got accelerated trace with my floral FO and almost ended up with soap on a stick. I got it into my loaf mold and then decided to go for it and add some MP pieces I had made awhile ago.

I left it on the dinner table and watched it go through gel and the MP pieces started to melt. It turned out like this:

I personally <3 it and I think I will try this happy accident again but hopefully at just a thick trace and not almost soap on a stick. Here's the link to my blog about it:

It does smell wonderful. I use 2 SOAP panel gardenia fragrances with a bit of White Tea and Ginger. Here's a better picture of how the MP worked with the CP
