 Post subject: Palm Oil -Again!

Hi Guys
I am trying to make a CP without Palm Oil. However whenever I try to make it using just olive and coconut I get loads of ash and what I can only describe as a thick rind. I feel I need to have a "palmate" oil in there , any suggestions for a cheapish alternative.

I use olive and coconut along with other oils or butters and I don't get ash. I live in the hot desert with no humidity.
