Jut looking for some advice on how everyone here colors their soap! :)

Iv'e been experimenting with "liquid color dispersions/brites", but can never get it right!
For me i'm pretty sure its a heat issue / soap not insulated enough, but every time i end up get a powdered / uneven color, even with swirled soaps! (made the infamous mistake of swirling on top of soap - didn't go throughout the soap lol)

Anyway does anyone else have any similar issues? Are powdered colors/ultramaries/ oxides more reliable for producing an even color?
Still have the rest of the color set to use up....lol - then likely going back to natural soap/uncolored :P

I would try mixing it with a small amount of glycerin and make a smooth slurry.

Thanks soapbuddy! :) hmmm could i pre-mix with olive oil if i didn't have any glycerin on me? or should i even be adding colors before reaching trace? been told to add colors at, or slightly before trace, though doesn't seem to be a mixing issue, just powders up massively after its set :(

If you are making one color soap, you can add mica or oil soluble color directly to your cooled off oils before adding the lye water.
