I'm making shaving soap. Would I be able to pour the soap into a ceramic cup for a mold? Especially if it is not microwave or dishwasher safe, would the cup crack?

I would not use a cup that's not at least dishwasher safe. I've seen some of the wet shaving guys stick their soap in the microwave to soften it. I think that would be a risk.
