I made a sea clay soap yesterday and added mint from two tea bags and they turned orange after unmolding them. Has this happened to anyone else? I've seen plenty of soaps with added herbs that were not orange. Is this something I can still sell at a farmers market?

I just found a post by Anne Watson that said mint can "bleed' orange rust like spots. I don't think this is something I can sell. What do you all do with 5 Lbs of soap you can't sell?

Do you have a homeless or women's shelter near you? If not you can donate it to a place like Clean the World.

Or, you can sell it at a discount. There's nothing wrong with the soap other than the way it looks. :)
