I love salt bars!

I do 50% salt, and my recipe is mostly coconut oil but also avocado, castor, sweet almond, and shea. :) My husband doesn't like them as much as my HP "normal" soap, but I quite like them. Definitely get individual cavity moulds (I use those blue silicone round ones), because coconut gets HARD and brittle, if you leave it too long you'll never be able to cut a loaf.

I haven't tried brine bars, though I'd like to!

My favorite bars are salt bars. Anne Marie's new book pure soap making has the perfect castle and salt recipe.
