I recently sent my husband out to pick up some pure aloe vera juice to use a sub for the water in my cp soap. He came back with one that says "Pure aloe vera juice, Potassium Sorbate and Stabilizer" on the ingredient list. I am wondering if anyone has experience soaping with aloe juice that has additives? If so did any undesirable things occur? I am really nervous about using it.

You should be fine. The potassium sorbate is a food preservative. The lye will inactivate it.
