Hello

I recently made a batch for embeds and used Irena's suggestion of 100% coconut oil 20% superfat
The first batch I made I added TD to the Lye mixture with Sodium Lactate, it got thick immediately and started ricing and got really hot
I had to quickly pour and them plop into the cavities, needless to say my hand soaps have a few digits missing!

I am assuming that TD did this?

It's better if you add the TD separately. If it's water soluble, mix it with a little bit of water. If it's oil soluble, you can stick blend it into your oils. I add SL to my cooled off lye water with no problems.

I bought TD from BB, I have put it in water and oil?
Might go back on their website and check!
