I just read a recipe for CP soap and it said to use crayons to colour it?
Is that common, good or bad?

I thought it was interesting, as they said they were non toxic, and made of wax, so I wasn't sure
It was from an e book called Ultimate guide to soapmaking

There's also a book out there that recommends RIT fabric dye for soap. That's another one you should never use in soap. Some of the older soapmaking books have seriously wrong info.
