Teach Soap

Yesterday I made soap. I put it in the freezer as soon as I poured it. After 16 hours in the freezer I took it out. I sat it on the counter to thaw. After about 4 or 5 hours on the counter I felt it and it is warm. Warmer than room temp. but not hot hot. 3 hours later it feels closer to room temp. Did I get a partial gel? Is this possible? How long should I leave it in the freezer? Most of it was in a 2lb. wooden mold. The rest was in a small plastic drink mix container I used for a mold. Both of them heated.

Yes, it's still possible you got a partial gel, especially if the scent you used tends to heat up your soap.

Milks, honey, sugar or any juices all have sugar. Some fragrances heat up the soap too. What I would do once the soap is out of the freezer, is to elevate it so air can get underneath, then put a fan on it to keep the temp down.
