Hello everyone...I have been having trouble with light colors- for example, I was trying to do a yellow and orange swirl, I was using a little titanium dioxide too. The idea was supposed to be like candy corn for October. I tied twice- with the first one, my batter with the TD turned green even before I poured it into the mold. The orange was ok (Tangerine Wow) and the yellow (Lemon Fizzy) went really dark- you almost can't tell it from the orange. I am wondering if it could be the OO that I am using...it seems darker than what I usually use. Do any of you know of a good recipe to use so that the uncolored batter will stay light and one that I can use with light colors that will stay true? I've used Tang Wow and Lemon Fiz before and not had a problem. Thank you so much. I made another batch today and the same thing happened.
