Hey everyone!

While looking at some soap porn (now don't pretend you don't look too) :lol:

I noticed some CP bars out there that have M&P embeds. At least it looked like a combination of both. Any thoughts on how to achieve this or am I not observing this correctly?

My thought was that the M&P would melt in the CP. Maybe put the loaf in the fridge?

Any thoughts or experience on doing this?

Ok nevermind.....I've found some tutorials on it but if you've ever done this, can you please let me know any tips or tricks you use to make it more successful?

It really depends on your ingredients, at what temp you soap at and if you add a fragrance that tends to heat up. I prefer not to gel, so my soaps go in the fridge or the freezer; up to overnight.

I usually soap at about 100 degrees for lye and oils about the same. Should I be soaping at a lower temp?

100 degrees for oils and lye should be fine. I soap at around 110 degrees (US).

Do you specifically want translucent embeds? If you just want embeds of a different color, you can do that with CP.
