Teach Soap

I made some GM CP soap about 6 weeks ago with some "bargain" fragrance oils. The scent did not stick Can I grate them down and melt in the crock pot and re-scent them with something that will stick?

You can remelt them, but in all honesty I would not re-scent them. Just because the scent is gone, doesn't mean the constituents of the fragrance oils are gone from your soap. By adding more fragrance oils you could go over the IFRA recommendations & the soap could be irritate your skin.

Also, are you positive that there's no scent to them anymore? Have you had someone who hasn't been around them smell them?

You may want to wait a while and see what happens. A LOT of times FO's mellow out and then bounce back! Or they bloom in the shower. Never count it out until you have exercised great patience and seen what may be! And even then, go and try it! I've heard stories of some FO's coming back 6 months after a fade!
