Hey Everyone,

I just finished saving a batch of laundry soap from a funny thing that happened.

I had a jar of experimental "liquid" soap that I created from my first soap I ever made. I had disolved grated soap into water many moons ago. It actually disolved, but it squirted out of the pump so hard and splattered EVERYWHERE. Needless to say, it went to the back of the laundry closet.

Until today. I had the thrifty idea to dump it into my laundery soap as it was heating up.

After that nothing would disolve, and I got a hard foam on top. Just water, undisolved borax and washing soada, and foam. I paniked and threw in 2 tsp of poly sorbate 20. Then it started gelling and getting goopy.

It looks fine now. Does anyone know what that foam business was all about?

Not really sure what your goop was but next time you could pour your melted down liquid soap into a foam dispenser and it works great! I've been doing that with some I bought from a crafter and I love it!! :lol:
