I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

Ultramarine Violet tends to morph but is lovely when it works. Ultramarine Pink looks like a purplish pink rather than a bright pink like the neons.

Sorry the picture is dark but this is Lavender soap using Ultramarine Violet and actually looks purple. In past batches I used less and it did look lavender.



This is my White Tea and Ginger soap using Ultramarine Pink. It actually looks less purplish but is still a purplish pink.


It takes some experimenting to get the colors you want. Good luck!

Linda, how did you get your colors so vibrant? mine look so dull.

The base is fairly white without TD so that helps. Some soaps I've had get rather gray so you have to experiment. The eo's/fo's chosen don't discolor either. I make up around 1/2 tsp pigment (in a distilled water slurry) per cup of soap batter and add some until I achieve the shade I want. Better to have extra and not need it than have to make more in a hurry. Hope this helps.
