I know that the sugar in both the goatsmilk and the honey can cause overheating issues. I was wondering: Should I use a higher liguid percentage and lower lye percentage (say 35% liquid instead of 33%)? Would this possibly help?

The best thing to do when using milk and/or honey is to soap at cooler temps and not insulate your mold.

If you are a newbie to soapmaking, I would start with a basic recipe with no goat's milk or honey. Get a few batches under your belt before you attempt using these ingredients. This is not something that's for beginners.
