I agree with Irena, but I would also caution you to watch the amount of any puree you add to any batter. I use pumpkin and carrots (although mine are more orange than yellow) regularly, and they work fine, but I only add about 6- 7.5 oz of puree in a 10 lb batch of soap. The more you add, the more issues you are asking for imho. Also, it is best to strain your puree, or make sure that it is truly a puree, because when you leave plant material in your batter you are increasing the likelihood of spoilage. I know that my soap, at my current percentages, will last years. So if someone where to set it on their shelf or in their drawer for a while, I know that it will still be good when they get it out. For the shelf life issue, as well as consistency, I really prefer using powders and infusions more so than purees, but to each his/her own.
