Teach Soap

Has anyone found a shrink wrap that is actualyl large enough.? Brambleberry is too small. I found one on Whole Supply Plus that is big enough around but too short to just barely and sometimes no cover the ends when it shrinks. I am trying to make my soap prettier and like the idea of a shrink wrap. I realize the ends need to be open for the soap to breath but I should at least be able to on the ends.

How big are your bars?

Large enough for what size soap?

I know The Sage has Dan's Bands which fit 2.5" X 3.25" x1.25"
I don't know if that's big enough for what you're looking for.
If it's not big enough, you may need to go with something like 6 X 6 inch shrink wrap bags & then just cut the other end off.

My bars are 3 3/4 inches wide. 2 1/4 tall. 1 1/8 thick. I use the green silicone loaf mold that I bought from WSP

Dan's Bands from MMS are actually smaller than the shrink bands from WSP. I've ordered both. You can check SKS Bottles - they have a ton of clear shrink bands in larger sizes. One of those will probably work for your soap.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

I saw a video on youtube of Amy Warden sizing her own shrink wrap, it requires extra steps and equipment, but if no other shrink wrap around will work for your needs it might be worth the investment? Now to hunt up that video....

Thanks everyone for your help. I think I will stick with the ones from WSP and put a ribbon or cigar band around the end.
