Hello,

I cut this soap and it has a crack on just one bar. It had a few glycerin spots too, but it soaked back in. The recipe i used was:

5% castor oil
27% coconut oil
36% olive oil
32% palm oil

9.12 oz water
3.43 grams lye

I also added sodium lactate - .40 oz and 5% super fat.

What is going on with this bar? Pictures of both sides of the bar?? Thanks!!

What colorants did you use? also did you gel?

i used red oxide and copper mica and yes, I think it gelled. After I added the FO it got pretty thick

Fragrances can also accelerate trace or make the soap overheat.

Is the crack from overheating? If so, is it safe to use?
