Oh no... Made some coffee soap today and went and checked out and it seems to be over heating. Small crack with what seems to be bubbles just under the surface. I put it in the freezer. Can I leave it there all night and will this ruin the soap?

Since I prefer not to gel, I routinely put my soaps in the fridge or the freezer; up to overnight.

I've put loaves of soap in the freezer and promptly forgotten about them... for more than 24 hours :oops: The soap turned out fine. After you de-mold it, let it warm up some before you try to cut it.

Soap looks fine. I must have caught it right at the start of it getting to hot. I took it out of the freezer the next morning and cut it that evening. It was softer then my first loaf and slicker. It's seems to be drying fine now.
