Teach Soap

I've been reading a bit on putting silk into CP soap but I'm wondering...

1) how long does it take to dissolve?
2) do you get silk fibers hanging out of your soap?
3) not sure what else I need to know here...

Silk needs heat and the high pH of lye water to dissolve. Add it to your water before you add the lye. Add the lye, then stir for a couple of minutes and it should dissolve.

No silk fibers hanging out of your soap. In fact, it takes only a small amount to make a difference. Just remember to source the cruelty free kind please!
