 Post subject: fix a partial gel

OK-I need to know if I can save my beautiful mantra swirl soap. I usually place a heating pad under my mold to gel, or in a cold room to prevent gel. Forgot to do either. I cut my loaf in half this morning to see how bad the color difference was. It is bad. Has anyone had success putting their soap in the oven at this point? Is it just too late? Thank you for any advice!

I would put it back in the mold and if the mold is oven safe, put it on low (170) and leave it there til it gels. It might take a while, so be patient.

Thank you so much. I popped it back in the oven, and it went to full gel. I used it for my the mantra swirl challenge entry! Whew!
It's the blue and green soap with the black swirl. I blogged about it here.
